On Day 1 in the early morning we set off for Western Serbia.
After scenic and enjoyable 2,5h ride we are arriving to Zlatibor, one of most beautiful mountains in Serbia.
Our first stop will be Stopica Cave, one of Western Serbia’s natural wonders, known for its impressive limestone formations and cascading cave pools. It’s open-flow cave, meaning you can hear the underground river and waterfalls flowing beneath your feet as you explore its stunning chambers.
After cave we are going to discover typical Wester Serbia village – Sirogojno.
Sirogojno is a unique open-air museum village near Zlatibor, showing traditional Serbian mountain life.
It preserves authentic 19th-century wooden houses, household objects, and workshops, offering a glimpse into rural life from centuries past.
Visitors can explore original log cabins, blacksmith shops, and weaving rooms, while also enjoying handmade wool products famous from this region. Sirogojno is not just a museum—it’s a living piece of Serbian heritage, where tradition meets nature in a peaceful mountain setting.
Another gem of nature is our next stop – Gostilje waterfall, one of largest waterfalls in Serbia, perfect to get some breeze in hot summer days.
And then, as a reward we are going for lunch to one family restaurant in their small ethno village to experience amazing food of Western Serbia in unique atmosphere.
After lunch we are going to Zlatibor mountain resort center check-in to hotel.
